GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE FESTIVAL
Lander LIVE Events 3pm-9pm
with Screen Door Porch and Shotgun Rider
Since the mid 1990s Reckless Kelly has been trailblazing the unique outlaw country sounds of the Austin, Texas music scene. Led by brothers Willy (guitar and vocals) and Cody Braun (fiddle, mandolin, harmonica and vocals) the two have moved beyond their early days of touring with their father’s band and are making their own country music with a solid rock edge. This “edge” is brought out by fellow band members David Abeyta on guitar and vocals, Jay Nazz on drums and Joe Miller on base. For two decades the band has toured coast to coast with adoring fans and critically acclaimed albums such as Grammy-nominated Good Luck & True Love (2011) and Grammy-winning Long Night Moon (2013). Their newest album, Sunset Motel (2016), is yet another shining example of the band’s take on true Americana music. For our Great American Eclipse extravaganza in Lander, Lander LIVE is pumped to bring in Reckless Kelly to show off our own “outlaw country” heritage and rock out with the best of them.
Screen Door Porch
Getting the evening going will be Wyoming’s own Screen Door Porch. Hailing from Jackson the group brings their Wyoming-influenced roots-rock, country-blues sound out in their fun and infectious live performances. The band is composed of Seadar Rose on vocals and Aaron Davis on slide guitar, who together form the songwriting pair. They are accompanied by Andy Peterson on drums and vocals and David Bundy on bass. This summer the band will be playing with their fourth studio release Pay it Forward (2017).
In their short time as a country duo, lead singer Logan Samford and main songwriter Anthony Enriquez, have driven their sound from the Panhandle through the avenues of the regional Texas music scene. Honing their craft at happy hours and dive bars on weeknights, SR brings their band to the Lone Star State’s venues on the weekends. Together, their music has quickly surpassed 1 Million Streams on Spotify, been featured on ABC’s ‘Nashville’, allowed them to tour relentlessly through the Texas/Oklahoma circuit, and catapulted their sales to the charts, with three Top 20 Records on iTunes Country and one Top 10 Record on Billboard South Central Heatseekers.
